One of the days, for lunch, we were taken out for a picnic… in the middle of the Andes! Superb scenery, delicious food, the freshest air, special company … in other words, a perfect lunch!:)
Later we visited a salt making mine, currently the bread and butter of the inhabitants in the nearby villages, and we ended the day having a chicha at a local ‘bar’. The chicha is a drink similar to beer but made of corn. And sometimes you can even find the strawberry flavor version :).
