The wonders of the Inca

The week spent with Hermano Tahuiro was magical and quite impossible to express in words. We were all filled with so much love, peace, learning, joy, transformation…

We were taken to many of the pre-Incan and Incan wonders, amongst which:

The Moray – they call this the place for change, as the vegetation that grows here changes with every level that goes futher up. That’s why the pre-Incas and Incas used this place to perform ceremonies to do with change and transformation.

The Saqsaywoman – used as a space for meditation, as well as a training ground for the Inca warriers.

The Tambomachay – a spring comes out of stone, and no one has been able to figure out its origins. It is said the water has never stopped flowing.

Racchi – ruins of pre Inca and Inca communities. Provides a very good illustration of customs and beliefs.

These photos do not do justice to the magic of the places, but will hopefully convey at least a bit of the feeling of wonder we felt walking through and around these special places. And we hope you will make you way there soon :).
