Lake Titikaka

On our fifth day we started to head South, towards Puno. Throughout my life, I have been on many oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, canals, seen waterfalls, springs, played in puddles… bathed in bathtubs. But I have NEVER seen such beautiful waters as the worlds’ highest navigable lake, the Titikaka. The way the sky was pouring into the water, or the water seemed to reach to the sky … magic!

I spent the 3 hour boat ride to the Taquile Island staring at the water, at the sky, at the scenery around… finding it hard to belive this was planet Earth… and just feeling so much love for everything around me. Such a special day and place…
